Jon Wysocki Leaves STAIND After 17 Years

Jon Wysocki, drummer for STAIND for the past 17 years left the band recently during the making of their new album. Drummer Will Hunt of Evanescence (Black Label Society, Tommy Lee) will sit behind the kit forSTAIND for the next couple of shows before the group secures a more permanent replacement for Wysocki.

In 2011 STAIND regrouped to begin writing the follow-up to their last recording, 2008's The Illusion Of Progress. In an official statement the band said "We wish him the best, and thank him for all the years he dedicated to STAIND." They added that Evanescence drummer Will Hunt will be joining them on future tour dates until they found a permanent replacement.
