Max Weinberg Raises Money For NJ Senior Center

Anyone wondering whether or not Max Weinberg is a mensch just got their answer. The longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen and former band leader for Conan O’Brien spent last weekend raising money for Seashore Gardens Living Center, an assisted living facility for elderly residents of Galloway Township, New Jersey. Weinberg made a several appearances, including a Saturday concert at Richard Stockton College Of New Jersey raised funds to buy percussion instruments for the center’s therapeutic drum circles. And on Sunday Weinberg performed at the Center, leading a group of residents who played along on maracas, congas, and tambourines. That evening he gave a lecture for VIP ticketholders in the Center’s auditorium, speaking about his experiences as one of the most recognizable drummers on Earth.
